Seems that getting a shot of max when he is awake is tough. Here's a rare one taken last week - onesie made by max's great auntie. today max is 3 weeks old. we went to visit dad at work today for lunch and to get out of the house for a few minutes. max slept the whole time starting from the car ride to work and only started fussing when it was time to go home. of course he slept on the ride home & then started crying once the car stopped!

I saw your comment about unusual sleeping positions. I think his in utero positions are more comfortable than being laid flat on a mattress to a newborn. He probably thinks this position is strange!

Max really is a cutie! He looks so alert - maybe it's because he sleeps so much! Does he sleep well at night?
Your mom is probably right about the sleeping positions. Babies must get used to being scrunched up in their mothers' wombs - so being laid out flat must feel weird to them.
Hope you're feeling better, RC! You had a rough time - Max was a really big boy, and you are so tiny. I can't believe he fit in you!

Isn't that wanting the car to keep moving thing something? Fortunately Sarah got better with that and eventually stayed sleep when the car stopped. For the longest I would creep the car up to the light hoping it would change.
